BUILT TO STREAMLINE SPENDING
American Express and Airbase have come together so you can generate virtual Cards from your American Express® Corporate or Business Card on the Airbase platform. Once enrolled,1 you can issue virtual Cards to help provide additional spending controls for your company and automatically sync virtual Card transactions, as well as physical Corporate Card transaction data, coded into Airbase to compatible general ledgers,2 helping reduce errors and manual effort.
Unlock the potential of American Express virtual Cards.
1. Employee Requests Virtual Card
Employees can request a virtual Card for a recurring or one-time expense by inputting vendor details, amount, and spending category into Airbase.
2. Spend Owner Approves Card
Spend owner reviews, adjusts as necessary, and approves the request.
3. Employee Spends with Virtual Card & Captures Receipt
If the spend owner approves, the Airbase platform displays the virtual Card. An employee enters virtual Card details at point of purchase and uploads the receipt to the platform if required by company expense policy.
4. Transactions Reviewed and Synced with Compatible General Ledger
Airbase’s integration to compatible general ledgers provides automatic syncing of transaction record and details for both virtual Cards and physical Corporate Cards.
